• Can I wash disposable PPE or take contaminated PPE home to clean?

  No, disposable PPE is for single use only. PPE, especially if contaminated with chemicals or biological agents, should not be taken home for cleaning as it can compromise the protective qualities and introduce hazards into the home environment

• How often should PPE be replaced?

  Replacement frequency varies by product. Hard hats and fall arrest systems have specific life expectancies, and any PPE should be replaced immediately if it is damaged, defective, or after a safety incident (e.g., an impact on a hard hat).

• How much does delivery cost?

  UK delivery costs £8.00 for all orders. However, delivery is completely free on all orders over £200.00, making it even more cost-effective to stock up on your workwear and safety equipment needs.

• Can I return items if they're not suitable?

  Yes, you may return any item from our standard range within 7 days of delivery, providing it's in the original packaging and suitable for resale. A full refund will be issued for the item. Please note that a re-delivery charge (standard shipping cost of £8.00) applies for exchanges where the return is not our error or the item is not faulty.

• Who pays for return postage?

  We will pay the return carriage costs for exchanges or refunds where the return is our error or the item is deemed to be faulty. For returns that are not our error and where items are not faulty, you'll need to cover the return postage costs.

• What items cannot be returned?

  We cannot accept returns on goods that have been embroidered, printed or had badges added with logos, goods that have been assembled to your requirements, or goods that have been specially procured for you that don't form part of our standard range. This does not affect your statutory rights.

• What brands do you stock?

  We stock a wide range of leading brands of personal safety equipment including Portwest, 3M, JSP, Moldex, Bolle, Lee Cooper, JCB, Dunlop, Rockfall, Goliath, Puma, Supertouch, Uneek, Predator and ATG Maxidry among others.

• Do you supply businesses outside of Chesterfield?

  Absolutely. Whilst we're Chesterfield's premier supplier and our distribution depot is centrally located here; we supply personal safety equipment to clients up and down the UK. We offer the same competitive pricing and expert service to all our customers, nationwide.

• How do I pay for my order?

  All website payments are handled securely by PayPal's gateway. You can pay using a credit or debit card without needing to create a PayPal account, making checkout quick and secure.

• What's the price range for your products?

  Our products cater to all budgets. PPE starts from £0.91, gloves from £0.68, hi-vis clothing from £1.68, workwear from £2.38, and safety footwear from £13.93. We stock products at all price points to suit different requirements and budgets.

• Do you stock flame-resistant workwear?

  Yes, we stock flame-resistant and anti-static workwear including Bizflame and Bizweld ranges from Portwest. Our range includes flame-resistant trousers, jackets, coveralls and hi-vis clothing suitable for welding, electrical work and high-risk environments.
